This is the BEST way to start your morning! It is not for the timid of breakfast eaters… If you like sausage, bacon, ham, eggs and cheese… THIS is what you are looking for!

Ingredients

* 6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
* 1 C. ham, diced
* 1 C. sausage, fried and crumbled
* 1 1/2 C. flour
* 3/4 C. milk
* 1/2 tsp. salt
* 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
* 1/2 C. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
* 1/2 C. Swiss cheese, grated
* 1 C. Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

Combine ingredients. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Slice into 1 inch slices.

French Toast Casserole Recipe

This French Toast Casserole is the winner of Recipe4Living’s Casserole Contest! It is easy to make and the only caveat is that you must prepare it 3 to 12 hours before baking it in the oven. Perfect by itself or serve it for a holiday buffet. Whatever you do, make plenty as this will be the first dish to go, it’s absolutely fabulous.

Ingredients

4 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
3/4 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 loaf brioche or challah bread or other sweet bread, sliced into 1 1/2 inch slices
8 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 C. whole milk
1 Tbs. homemade or pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Dash freshly grated nutmeg
Pinch of sea salt
3/4 C. chopped pecans
Confectioners’ sugar for accompaniment
Pure maple syrup

Cinnamon-Raisin French Toast Casserole Recipe

Yum, this is awesome for breakfast, brunch, even dinner, easy and oh so delicious.

Ingredients

1 C. whole milk
4 large eggs
4 Tbs. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
8 slices cinnamon-raisin bread
6 Tbs. butter
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced

Directions

Whisk milk, eggs, 2 Tbs. sugar, vanilla and salt in 8-inch square baking dish. Add bread and let soak until egg mixture is absorbed, turning once, about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt 2 Tbs. butter in heavy small skillet over medium heat. Add remaining 2 Tbs. sugar and apple slices. Sauté until apple slices are tender, about 10 minutes. Keep warm.

Baked Victorian French Toast Recipe

My boss made this for Christmas brunch a couple years ago and I serve it every Christmas morning for my neighbors to gather at my home for brunch.

Ingredients

1 C. packed brown sugar
1/2 C. butter or margarine
2 Tbs. light corn syrup (karo)
3/4 inch slices of french bread
5 eggs
1 1/2 C. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

In a small sauce pan cook and stir sugar, syrup and butter until butter is melted. Pour brown sugar mixture into an ungreased 12×7 1/2×2-inch baking dish. Arrange bread slices in a single layer on top of brown sugar mixture. If necessary, cut bread to fit into dish (may need more than six slices of bread, snuggly fit in dish), set dish aside.

CrockPot Morning Casserole Recipe

Start this the night before and a unique breakfast will be ready for you in the morning.

Ingredients

1 32 oz. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
1 lb. of bacon diced, cooked and drained or 1 lb. cooked ham, cubed
1 medium diced onion
1 green bell pepper diced
1 1/2 C. shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1 dozen eggs
1 C. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper (more or less to taste)

Directions

Place a layer of frozen potatoes on the bottom of the slow cooker, followed by a layer of bacon then onions, green pepper and cheese. Repeat the layering process two or three more times, ending with a layer of cheese. Beat the eggs, milk and salt and pepper together. Pour over the Crockpot mixture, cover and turn on low. Cook for 10-12 hours.
