easy casserole

More-More Casserole Recipe

As the name suggests, you can guess what you’ll be hearing at the dinner table.

Ingredients

2 tsp. salt
4-6 qt. boiling water
1 lb. medium egg noodles
1 C. chopped onion
2 Tbs. butter
4 lb. ground chuck
1 1/2 C. chopped green pepper
6 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 16 oz. can corn, drained
2 Tbs. chili powder
Salt, to taste
1 lb. grated cheddar cheese

Directions

Cook noodles uncovered until just tender. Drain. Sauté onion in butter; add the meat and cook until brown. Add next 5 ingredients. Mix well and then combine with noodles. Pour into a 6 qt. baking dish. Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Chicken-Macaroni Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 Tbs. butter or margarine
1/4 C. all purpose flour
2 C. light cream
1 1/2-2 C. chicken broth, divided
3/4 lb. process American cheese, cubed
2 7 oz. boxes elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
3 C. cubed cooked chicken
1 2 oz. jar diced pimientos, drained
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Snipped fresh parsley (optional)
